Forest Service (FS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), and state or local government employees will submit their nominations through their Geographical Area Training Representative for prioritization and forwarding to NAFRI.
Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), and National Park Service (NPS) employees will submit their nominations through their respective agencies’ National Fire Office for prioritization and forwarding to NAFRI.

Federal employees should submit nominations to the following courses through the IQCS workflow. Paper and electronic NWCG nomination forms will still be accepted. Contact the course coordinator if you have questions.

Submit nominations directly to the course coordinator for:

Nominations for all other NAFRI courses should be submitted via paper/electronic NWCG nomination form through Geographical Area Training Representatives and National Fire Offices for prioritization and forwarding to NAFRI.
All nominations must be submitted on the NWCG training nomination form (NFES-2131).
